I am pleased to announce that I will be holding my first Youth Writing Workshop, Saturday August 20th at the Dryden Public Library. The workshop will include overviews on creativity, writing styles, marketing, publishing and experimental formats. These are all areas I have been extensively involved with over the past six years and I am excited for the opportunity to spread my knowledge. The focus of the workshop will be to help young writers develop their voices and the confidence they need to express their stories. I hope to eventually make this a recurring event and to publish the work of these talented writers in their very own literary magazine.
